What does your initial consultation look like?

During the initial video call we will have a detailed discussion about your knee injury, including your current situation, your goals and expectations, and any barriers that may impact your recovery.

We will examine your MRI report and images and discuss ACL healing potential, secondary injuries, and any factors that may impact your outcomes.

We will go through a detailed functional assessment, determine the best rehabilitation plan, and build a personalised treatment plan and the best course of action for you to recover.

What will we do in our follow-up consultations?

Follow-up consultations are designed to address any symptoms, concerns, and progressions you may have.

We will go through guided symptom management treaments and your personalised rehabilitation exercises.

We will make sure you are completing your exercises correctly, and ensure we are programming the appropriate load and intensity.

We will continue to progress your exercises as necessary, and we will discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

What is a ForceDecks and Dynamometry Assessment?

ForceDecks and Dynamometry are high quality assessment tools that allow us to measure extreme detail about your knee fucntion including Peak Strength, Rate of Force Development, Impulses, and a number of other important data to help determine what we need to address, what specific exercise will help you recover, and when you are ready to return to running, jumping, and sport.

What will my exercise program look like?

Your personalised rehabilitation program is delivered through the MoveHealth App. It will consist of specific exercises personalised to your current situation, and your goals.

The MoveHealth App is an easy to use platform that has videos, and instructions on how to complete your exercises, and it prompts you when you need to do them or when you’ve missed a session to make sure you are performing the optimal amount of exercise.
