Scott Harrison
Master of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science)
Scott graduated from Edith Cowan University, Perth in 2015 with a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science. He then moved to complete a Master of Physiotherapy at The University of Sydney. Following graduation in 2017, Scott decided to return to Perth to pursue his career in Physiotherapy and joined the team at Balcatta Physiotherapy in early 2018 and continues to consult at Balcatta.
Scott originally started The Rehab Room Physiotherapy in 2018 as a hobby to post videos and content about rehabilitation and exercise. Since then it has grown into a business to help many with various injuries from all over the world.
Scott’s main interests are in sports physiotherapy, injury prevention, and athletic performance. Scott has worked with multiple high level teams and athletes already in his short career, including Olympic athletes at the New South Wales Institute of Sport, APIA Leichhardt Tigers Football Club and Northwestern Predators American Football Club. He has most recently enjoyed opportunities with Balcatta Football Club, as well as the Australian Hockeyroos and Kookaburras.
Scott also has a special interest in the non-surgical management of ACL injuries. He suffered an ACL injury playing Football in June 2019, and rehabilitated to make a return to complete the season in 11 weeks.
Since then Scott has worked with 100’s of people recovering from ACL injuries and has helped develop bracing techniques to assist in anatomical healing of complete ACL tears.
Scott provides his expertise locally at Balcatta Physiotherapy in Perth, Australia, and globally through telehealth video consultaitons.
